Where have we been the last 6 months!!!!

Obviously I haven't been so good at updating my blog so I'm going to attempt to get caught up in one gigantic post, here's some pictures of what we've been up to the last 6 months! Enjoy......

We went swimming.

We made Daddy this for Fathers Day

We went to the parade

and scored lots of candy...

Hayes got tubes and his lip cut (and wasn't happy to go with the doc)

Kinlee did a great job at her swimming lessons

She played with a bunch of potatoe bugs

We spent a week in Island Park!

Trev and I went to the George Strait concert (with Julianne Hough & Blake Sheldon)

We named this guy "Joe Dirt" he was so proud of his cameras (yes that's plural, his old style wind up Nikon and his point and shoot strapped to his belt) he was a pretty cool dude. I think I'm permanantly scared from seeing him and his girlfriend make out the entire time! gross....

We finally dusted off the moose so Kinlee had to climb the ladder.

We went to the Ogden parade

Kinlee had lots of fun riding Rocky & Ponytail (Ponytail is her little pony, she's improved so much, I LOVE IT)!

Kinlee's done lots of concerts for us (don't ya just love the rag taped on her ankle she's so creative)

We watched fireworks (the kids loved them)

We went to Kenzee's birthday party

Ok I will add more tonight but I better get some more cleaning done, so check back for even more picts tomm......

F.Y.I.

A few of you have asked how I got my name at the bottom of my posts, so I thought I'd share my two most favorite sites with you real quick... You can go here to kevinandamanda.com and if you scroll down on her home page you will find the tutorial that explains how to do the signature. This is also the site I use to get all of my awesome handwriting fonts for FREE! (I've also tried a bunch of her yummy recipes and they are yummy, I'm actually making the "Creamy Chicken Enchaladas" tonight because we love them so much...

You can go to my other favorite site here (nicoleyoungdesigns.blogspot.com) she has the cutest digital scrapbooking kits and every Friday she gives away a FREEBIE! You can purchase all of her kits here at digitalscrapbookplace.com I think I have over 45 of her kits now. I used her "Zoobaloo" kit to make my current background and header, and I also stole her idea of putting the pictures on my background. (Her blog is also where I read the tutorial of how to make your own background and header). Enjoy!

Maybe one of these days I will tackle the task of actually posting what we've been up to the last few months, but the longer I wait the harder it's getting. Hmmm, maybe that will be on my to-do list while Trever is Antelope hunting all week...

RODEO

Now that I can hold my eyes open I'll finish my last post, here's the video and some pictures from Kin's rodeo. The neighbor boys were signing up for the mutton busting and she INSISTED on signing up, even after we told her they were going to be big and run fast, well she chickened out! She was standing on the back of the buckin shoots and goes "I am NOT riding a sheep, they are too big" and that was the end of that, and there went $20 for nothing. Oh well, at least we tried to support her in what she wanted to do (it at least makes me feel better to say that)! Kinlee & Chet Proud Mommy with Kin and her trophy

LOVIN SUMMER

First off, my embarrasing story that landed me at the ER from 9-midnightish about a month ago.

BEWARE OF THESE CANS

See what happened was Kenzee had a late softball game and since I'm such a wonderful mom and wife we didn't eat dinner before the game, so when we got home about 8:30 I started cooking some dinner, trying to hurry, I opened the can of cream of chicken soup for my yummy chicken dinner stuff. Anyways I ended up slicing my hand somehow, don't ask me how I did it, but I did. It was the kind of can where you pull the lid off, so beware of that kind! So Trev could stay and put the kids to bed, my wonderful Dad took me up to the hospital and waited with me for 3 LONG hours where I swore we were going to leave with some sort of flu or sickness with all the people throwing up around us. Needless to say it wasn't very fun, and luckily we didn't leave with any nasty germs. Here's my lovely stitches that I had to leave in for 12 whole days, IT WAS A PAIN!!!

Hayes is in a funny/cute stage lately and I just can't help but take a ton of pictures, here's a few of my favorites...

Did I mention he likes to climb! Not just a little bit, he is constantly climbing, in toys, on tables, on the tv, couches, bed, toilets, seriously he climbs EVERYTHING!

Here he is taking after his Daddy, I'm afraid I have another little hunter on my hands. Ps. Check out that belly, haha

He LOVES playing in Kinlee's jeep...

My handsome little guy

The other day we got the horses out and finally gave them a bath, isn't Kinlee's horse "Ponytail" the cutest!

Kinlee and our little neighbor Chet are pretty much inseparable, they are the best little buddies, anyways here they are playing "family" Chet was the Dad, Kinlee was the Mom, then notice the baby in between, how cute is that! Don't worry she plays boy stuff with him all the time too.

Poor Hayes all that playing can wear a little boy out, I couldn't believe he actually fell asleep like this.

Since it's now 1:30am I'm going to bed, as soon as I get a sec I'll post the pictures and video from Kinlee's rodeo.... Goodnight...

It's been 2 months maybe it's time for an update!

I'll start from the first of April.

It was finally warm enough to take the kids riding so here's Kinlee on Ponytail

And here's Hayes' first horse ride, he loved it.

SIMPSON SPRINGS
For Easter weekend we went camping at Simpson Springs, we had a great time. There were about 15 trailers in our group parked in a big circle with these little 4-wheeler hills close by, the kids lived on those hills from the time they woke up until it was time for dinner. Kenzee took Kinlee on a ride and they had a little crash in some sage brush but luckily they didn't get hurt. One day we rode out to the geobeds and broke them open, then another day we went on a long ride to some old abandoned mines. We came home Saturday night so we'd be home for Easter. Here's some pictures of the trip...

Digging at the geobeds

And here's what we found

Kinlee flying a kite

Old mine

And here's what we brought home (the kids caught a bunch of lizzards while we were down there and these 2 were Kinlee's, she kept wanting to bring them home and we were hoping she'd forget about them, well we left -without the lizzards so we thought- but the next morning Trever was cleaning out the truck and found the lizzards in their little container under the front seat, Grandpa Talbot thought we needed 2 more pets so he hid them there. So now Sunshine and Izzybo are part of the family. The joke was on him though when he told Kenzee she could bring hers home, thinking she had 2 and finding out there was really 4 in her container when they got home!!! How funny is that!)

EASTER DAY!

Hayes and Kinlee finding their Easter baskets

Coloring easter eggs

Hayes lookin so cute

TURKEY HUNTING
Trever had a turkey tag in Beaver so he took Kinlee turkey hunting with him and his dad. She was so excited to go and had so much fun but the day before they came home she got sick, poor girl, good thing her Daddy took such good care of her.

DADDY DAUGHTER SLEEPOVER
Trever has been waiting since Kinlee was born to sleep out back in a tent, and they FINALLY got to. I was at bunco that night and they couldn't wait for me to get home so they could go camping (so Hayes wasn't inside by himself) so anyways here they are on their little campout. I'm sure when Hayes is a little older all 4 of us are gonna be having campouts.

Here they are going to bed

The next morning, still sleeping!

KINLEE'S DANCE RECITAL

Then a couple weekends ago was Kinlee's dance recital. She did awesome! I think it's just a big accomplishment for the little girls to even get up on stage in front of all those people, then to try to dance on top of that, I thought she did great! They danced to the kung foo fighting song. She decided next year she wants to try the cheerleading class, she's pretty excited about that. Hopefully she likes it.

Kenzee and Kinlee

Almost done...
SNOWVILLE CAMP TRIP

For Memorial weekend we went camping in Snowville with Trever's family and friends. It was fun to get out and ride the ranger and play with the kids. It rained a little bit, but other than that the weather was nice and we had a good time.

Our camping rig (I know you're all jealous of our trailer, haha, but hey it has beds, a heater, a bathroom, and running water, much better than a tent)

Kinlee and Macie in the ranger.

Trev teaching Kinlee how to shoot a gun, she loved it and kept wanting to shoot more.

Sittin by the fire

Right before we left Hayes found the mud and he was just having too much fun to make him stop playing in it.

K, well I think that's all for now. I say it everytime, but I'll try to get better about posting more.
